Hello fellow homo sapiens ! I recently hauled quite a bit of makeup and wanted share the bits and bobs I got :) I must warn you though, there is quite a bit of hot pink lip products in this post because I am just so obsessed! I can't wait until MAC repromotes Candy Yum Yum next month because I will do my best to get my hands on it. Hot Pink should totally be next year's color of the year!
First off, I already did a video on these, so here is the video if you would like to watch it :)
So I got quite a bit of nail polish. Some people may not think this is a lot but, believe it or not, this is a lot for me. I feel that some people definitely over-do the whole nail polish fad.
China Glaze - Dress Me Up Orly - Glowstick China Glaze - Electrify Maybelline - (L-R) Shocking Seas, Sweet Clementine, Tenacious Teal, Audacious Asphalt, Born With It, Fuchsia Fever |
You may already have seen some of these nail polish featured in some Mani Mondays that I have already done.
Rite Aid was also having 40% off all Revlon products and I wanted some more Lip Butters ! I also wanted to try their Colorstay quads. Revlon was 40% off again a couple of weeks later so I just had to try the new Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains.
I already have some swatches up for some of the balm stains already :) So obsessed. They may be the best thing that has every happened to me, make-up wise, this summer. Lol >.< I also cancelled my Birchbox but I wanted to share what stood out to me the most from my last box, which was the May box. I also bought a lipstick from the Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale. Believe it or not, that is the only purchase I made at the sale. I didn't feel the need to stock up on body lotions or undergarments. I have many to go through and I'm trying not to spend much.
Ojon Volumizing Conditioner Victoria's Secret Perfect Lipstick - Hot Kiss Sephora Mineral Foundation Compact - D30 Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner - |
Then I put in a Sephora order and got their Foundation Compact as it is now discontinued. It was on clearance for $7 and it's regularly $22. I've been meaning to pick up this shade because i have the shade darker and it's currently too dark still. I haven't managed to suntan yet. Since that was only $7, I still didn't want to pay shipping so I finally purchased the Naked Palette to get free shipping. After 2 years ! Yes !
I picked those up whilst Sephora was having their 15 days of Beauty Steals around the end of May, beginning of June. I placed this order when they were giving out some awesome Dior samples. It came with these temporary tattoos, a tiny sample of their serum, a cute lipstick sample from their new Addict Extreme line in the shade Lucky and their lash primer. Sorry but if I wrote down the whole name of each of those product, it would be too much. But you get the just.
I also got my Birthday Freebies which I am glad to say I 'm very satisfied with. Then a few days after my birthday I got this Stila Luminizer set, it was an impulse buy. Damn Sephora and all the goodies they have by the register. I really liked this product when I was swatting them but I think I may be returning them. Review will be coming soon. I really went to Sephora after my birthday with the intentions of purchasing the bareMinerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolor in Ambition. So excited about it!
The samples I chose were these primers and a BVLGARI fragrance samples. I really enjoy their fragrances. I have yet to finish a bunch of my body mists and perfumes before I buy the one I want from them. I chose the primers because I don't usually wear primer and wanted to see if it actually makes a difference.
I also placed an Hautelook order. I posted a picture of these things on instagram already but wanted to share again ! I'm in love with theBalm. I kind of regret not purchasing some of their blushers and their concealer but it's no big deal.
Whew ! Well, that's it for this haul. Have you tried any of these products? Would love to know what you thought of them :)
Until Next Time,
-Justine
Wow, lovely haul! You've bought so many products that I've had my eye on (especially the Mary-Loumanizer). The US seems to have amazing deals on drugstore makeup - I would go to town if we had 40% off Revlon in Australia! xx
