Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain - Romantic (swatches)

I'm going to be posting individual blog posts on each Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain shade that I currently own. I wanted to do kind shade comparisons of each shade with other shades that I own and find similar to it. 

This won't be a review because I will be compiling all the shades I have in some upcoming posts but I decided to do a brief rundown on every shade I have for fun. Today, I will be showcasing the shade Romantic.

Romantic is a straight up red orange. No other way to explain it. However, I have noticed that as it fades throughout the day, it gives my lips a nice "I just ate a popsicle" reddish tint. Me likey! I guess you can also consider it as a "Just Bitten" kind of stain ;P

I'll be honest, I was kind of disappointed when I applied this on the lips because I was expecting this color to be mostly red and less orange. At least, that's what the product made it seem like. Nevertheless, I think this color is still great.

Lip Swatch

Here are other lip products I own compared to Romantic. Romantic somewhat reminds me of Revlon's Sire. But expect a different comparison including that lipstick because there is another balm stain I think is very similar to it as well.

The closest that came to Romantic was Tutti Frutti but Tutti Frutti is a lighter orange color with no red hue in it whatsoever. Cherry Tart was almost there, however, it was more pink toned. I have no idea why I would think Sheer red would be even close but it's obviously not as it is a straight up red color.

Overall, this a nice and fun shade, especially for the summer. I don't think I'll get much wear out of it during winter time. But who knows, I do live in California. If you have a deeper skin tone, this color will look breathtakingly beautiful on you all year round. But I still recommend giving this shade a shot no matter what skin tone you are. It's really nice in person :)
