This week's nail color is Maybelline's Audacious Asphalt. Yes, you read that right. It has the same exact name as one of the 24 hour color tattoo. However, I think this polish looks nothing like the color tattoo nor does it look like asphalt. The roads around where I live were recently replaced with some nice looking asphalt and this looks nothing like it.
This color is a very light cool grey. I love it. It's not a typical summer color but it still looks great under the sun. It's more of an autumn color, if you want to get all seasonal. All the pictures are of the nail polish on my nails with 2 coats.
One coat just didn't do the trick. The second did it for me. Again, I think a third coat would've gone better but I didn't really have the patience. And I was already happy with the results of just two coats.
I do have to say that I was a bit disappointed when I first applied this on because it was quite streaky. I think that was another reason why I neglected a third coat. I didn't want the streakiness of the polish to be so obvious.

Overall, this is a fantastic nail lacquer especially for the price. If you didn't know yet, these polishes are a bit over $2. If you're into grey or even taupe polishes, definitely give Audacious Asphalt a try.
