Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzers (Review and Swatches)

When I started out with makeup, I had no idea what the purpose of bronzers were, nor did I have any idea what it even looked like ! Well, that's a story for another post. My second bronzer just so happens to be Wet n Wild's Color Icon Bronzer in Princess. It was because I heard someone on youtube say that Princess is the perfect bronze and it's not too orange. That's what got me to buy Princess.

The shade 'Goddess' however, took me until last month to finally purchase. I always watch people on youtube say that this is a matte bronzer and they use it for contour. I also read some blogs who state the same claim. I have seen this before and it was truly matte. Underneath the store lighting anyway. But when I bought it, I noticed that it had some shimmer. It also has a subtle red undertone. In my opinion, it's alright for contouring and the shimmer in it isn't all that noticeable. It's not the best. I think contour powders are truly that best thing for contour. It sure does make a nice blusher though :)

Goddess is in the new packaging and Princess is the old one.

I mostly use bronzers for a nice glow or to darken up a light foundation. Bronzers are truly a life saver for me most of the time. I mix it up with a face powder to contour. I even use it as eyeshadow! I think every girl should own some type of bronzer. You should have at least one or two ;)

I hope you enjoyed this post. Tell me what you think of these bronzers! :D

Until Next Time,

p.s. The goddess is feature in one of my new videos:
