Top to Bottom: 02, 03, 04 |
Top to Bottom: 02, 03, 04 (Can you tell that 02 is lighter than 03?) |
Excuse the fact that there are three streaks. But can you see the more blended swatch at the very top. It looks almost invisible. |
- This one actually does brighten my under eyes. It's a light/medium beige with very obvious pink undertones. I really like this one especially for under eye dark circles. I also like it for my cheeks as a highlight. I prefer applying it on top of liquid foundations. Because it doesn't last so long, I don't use this alone with a powder. I only use it when in coordination with a liquid foundation. I'm probably update this post with a picture of me wearing this shade. Not so sure. Or maybe I 'll do a separate post.
Next one, 03 Medium Beige:
I pumped out too much again and there you go with the three streaks ! (Can you see the a little obvious very blended out swatch on the bottom right?) |
- This is definitely a medium pink with beige undertones. No, it's not beige with pink undertones. It's the other way around. At least that's how it shows up on my face. If applied on dark circles, this shade makes them worse. This is my least favorite and I do regret purchasing this one. However, I have found a use for it since. I decided to use it as blush one day and I gotta say, not bad. It's ok for now I guess. Maybe one day I'll find someone to give this away to but for now, it's gotta be a blush.
Excuse the dry hands. The swatch on the very right side of the three streaks is the blended out swatch if you can't tell. |
- For me, this one is ok. I feel that it will suite me better in the summer time. It's VERY yellow. Ridiculously yellow. I haven't tried it for my under eyes. But I like it for minor blemishes. Such us acne scars that are very close to going away. It's ok. Like 02, this one doesn't last as long either. I think this will suit very deep skin tones with very warm undertones better as well. I don't love it. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure how I feel about it until the summer time.
I also read a cool blog post from Portrait of Mai. She compared this specific shade to Benifit's Erase Paste. So be sure to check that out.
So all in all, these are ok. They're not to love. Honestly, I can't see myself reaching for these often. It's no wonder Milani has discontinued them after a short amount of time of these concealers' existence. Excuse the dry hands and three streaks of each swatch. It was all due to the fact that I squeezed out a little more product than expected. Might I also add that these have a slight minty scent to them that belongs to a lipgloss rather than a concealer. I wonder if I'm the only one who has noticed that.
Have you tried this concealer? Love it or Hate it or Bleh? ^.^
Until Next Time,
-Justine !
