Review & Swatches || theBalm Mary Lou-Manizer

Hello fellow homo sapiens ! I have been getting into highlighters lately and for today's post, I am sharing my two cents on the only powder highlighter I own, so far ;)
 First off, let's talk about packaging... Isn't this the cutest thing?! I love the packaging. It's so cute! I like exterior packaging too! So much so, that I'm keeping the box >.<

Mary Lou-Manizer is a lovely light champagne color with very fine gold shimmer. It's very pretty. And on the cheeks, it's very subtle and the shimmer is nearly undetectable. It's very natural and that's what I strive for.
The brush I use to apply this is a fluffy crease brush similar to the MAC 224 but I also use this little brush that my mom gave me from Sheer Cover. I believe it's their small foundation brush. Because that's what it looked similar to when I googled it just now. And I apply it on top of the cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose and my cupid's bow and it just adds a little special glow that I like.
I got this on Hautelook for a really good price but I really can't remember what the price was. Sorry. But definitely sign up for Hautelook if you haven't already because this is so worth it. By the way, this is off topic but isn't it a bit ridiculous that Hautelook occasionally has a sale on ELF makeup but yet they're regular priced? O.o
Left: Blended || Right: One-Swipe Swatch
Overall, I do highly recommend this highlighter or at least check it out. I'm sure this will suite many or maybe all types of skin tones.

Until Next Time,
-Justine
